Margaret Saja, age 96, of Easton, Passed Away Wednesday

Margaret Saja, age 96, of Easton, formerly of Stratford, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. She was the widow of Joseph Saja.

Mrs. Saja was born in Stratford to the late John and Elizabeth (Martinedes) Elias. She had worked for many years at the Burndy Corporation.

She is survived by her loving family, son and daughter-in-law, John and Sally Saja; grandchildren, Maryann and Tony Croce, Joseph and Stephanie Saja and Cathie and Andy Savvaides; great-grandchildren, Christina, Nicole and Anthony John Croce, Kaylee and Andrew Savvaides and Emma Saja; dear friend since childhood, Mary Pavlisak; loving neighbors, Marsha Stendahl, Timothy and Gloria Barber and Stephen Tyrell; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Elias and her sister, Mary Fabricy.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. A funeral prayer service will follow at the funeral home at 10:30 am. Inurnment will take place at St. John Cemetery, Stratford.
