Masuk Rolls Over Barlow Football

UConn-bound quarterback Casey Cochran threw four touchdown passes Friday as Masuk, the state's top-ranked team, posted a 55-12 victory over Barlow.

Cochran, who threw for more than 300 yards, now has thrown a state-record 90 touchdowns in his career, including 15 this season.

The Panthers improved to 4-0 while the Falcons dropped to 1-3.

Masuk jumped out to a 28-6 halftime lead and coasted to the victory in which it surpassed the 50-point mark for the third time this season. Masuk has scored a state-best 224 points in its four games, an average of 56 points per game.

Alex Lockwood and Sam Reed scored touchdowns for the Falcons, who host Immaculate in their homecoming game next week.
