A special training program coming to Meadow Ridge senior living community on March 30-April 6 offers the latest and most advanced tools to help staff understand and better care for those experiencing

The Virtual Dementia Tour offers this educational program to help people better understand the physical and mental challenges of those living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. This unique interactive program has been scientifically proven to improve communication and care for those experiencing memory loss.
The tour involves four sensory-altering components. Staff members at Meadow Ridge will be asked to enter an apartment environment and perform a series of simple tasks based on normal daily living.
