Meet The Porcupine Lady and her Quill Pig!
Meet one of the world's third largest rodents and learn about the natural history of one of Connecticut's most unique mammals!
You may know CT DEEP Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator Gerri Griswold as “The Bat Lady” but she also moonlights as “The Porcupine Lady.” On Sunday February 5 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. (Snow date: Sunday February 12, 2 p.m.) at New Pond Farm (101 Marchant Road) meet one of the world’s third largest rodents, a Quill Pig named The New One, and learn about the natural history of one of Connecticut’s most unique mammals!
This family program is $10 per New Pond Farm member and $15 per non-member.
