Missing Peacock Returned to Home in Redding
The police found the pretty bird and got the word out

REDDING, CT — It did not take long for this colorful character to find his way back home.
A scant two hours after the Redding Police posted a lost peacock advisory on its Facebook page, the errant bird's handlers swooped in to claim it.
The PD posted:

“Lost Peacock Needs A Ride Home...
“This proud guy was found in the area of Meeker Hill Road. If you know where he belongs please give the Redding Animal Control Officer a call - 203.938.3400”

Two hours later, police returned to Facebook to inform residents and other bird lovers that “Our peacock friend has found his way home. Thank you for sharing the post.”
