Navin Girlfriend To Accept Plea Deal
The girlfriend of a man accused of killing his parents will accept a plea deal.

EASTON, CT — The girlfriend of a man accused of killing his parents has accepted a plea deal in her case. Jennifer Valiente has accepted a deal where she would plead guilty to hindering prosecution in exchange for an eight year prison sentence.
Her attorney Norm Pattis said there wasn't any evidence that Valiente knew that Navin would kill Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, but that she did help him cover it up after the fact, according to Fox 61. She won't testify in Navin's case.
Navin is accused of killing his parents after they threatened to cut him out of the will.
