Norfield Summerfest 2015
Bring family and friends, dads and grads to enjoy a fun-filled evening at Summerfest 2015 and make some great summertime memories!
What better way to kick off the beginning of the summer season than with a community-wide picnic and dance at Norfield’s first annual “Summerfest 2015” on Saturday, June 20th from 5:00pm - 10:00pm at the Norfield Congregational Church front lawn! Summerfest 2015 will feature a southern-style barbeque, family fun activities, and musical entertainment by New Jersey-based frontman, singer, and harmonica player, Rob Paparozzi and the Joe Kos Band of Weston.
Rob Paparozzi has been a blues musician since 1967 and has worked over the years with such artists as B.B. King, Bruce Springsteen, Dr. John, Whitney Houston, Carole King, Roberta Flack, James Galway, Cyndi Lauper, the C and has toured the world with the “Original Blues Brothers Band and the legendary, ”Blood, Sweat, and Tears Band.”
Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, however a limited number of tables and chairs will be available. The event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children, 5yrs. to 12yrs. and children under 5 yrs. are free. The event is BYOB, however family friendly beverages will be served. The ticket purchase price includes the barbeque, family activities, and musical entertainment and can be purchased on line at www.norfield.org.
