EASTON, CT — Alan Hunter, 76, of Easton, left the love of his life Patricia Hayman on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Alan was a longtime resident of Easton and Wolcott. Before his retirement, he spent 28 years working as general manager of Benman Industries, alongside Patty, in Bridgeport. Alan and Patty lived, worked, and laughed together every day, and his years with Patty were the happiest of his life. Alan loved the outdoors and was at his best when he was out on the water in his boat, working in his garden, or puttering around outside at his lake house. He was a kind and gentle man who loved to laugh, and never met a pun he didn't like.

He later approached his battle with Cancer with the same bravery and uncomplaining strength.
Alan was preceded in death by his son, Sam Hunter.
