Obituary: Alex Parker, age 81, of Easton

Alex was a foreman with the Aquarion Water Company for over 45 years.

EASTON, CT — Alex Parker, age 81, of Easton, the loving and devoted husband of the late Dianne Parker, passed away peacefully in Trumbull on August 29, 2018.

Born in Bridgeport to the late Frank and Ethel Parker, Alex was a foreman with the Aquarion Water Company for over 45 years.

Alex was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He could be found always trying to help his family and was a man who had many friends who truly loved him for his kindness and generosity.

He is survived by his son, Alex and his wife, Nancy of Monroe; his cherished grandchildren, Tierney and A.J.; his sisters; Fannie Bursey of Stratford and Ruthie Sears of Bridgeport; his brother, Hank of Stratford and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Frankie and Albert and his sisters, Shirley Ambrosey, Edith Ploof, Lillian Parker and Elizabeth Skoravack.

Friends are invited to greet his family on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 from 8:15-9:30 a.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment in Aspetuck Cemetery.
