Obituary: Deborah Jean Lindstrom, of Weston

Deborah was a member of the American, Connecticut and Norwalk-Wilton Regional Bar Associations.

WESTON, CT — Deborah Jean Lindstrom, 71, of Weston, daughter of Russell Lindstrom and Bernice White Lindstrom, born September 23, 1947 in Joliet, Illinois, died September 30, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital.

She adopted Westport as her home where she began her career as a teacher at Bedford Elementary School in Westport. After earning her law degree, she became a partner at the law firm of DePanfilis & Vallerie LLC, Norwalk, where she practiced for 24 years specializing in family and domestic law. She was a member of the American, Connecticut and Norwalk-Wilton Regional Bar Associations. She rounded out her career as an Investment Advisor Representative for Resnick Advisors in Westport for several years.

Deborah was an active volunteer and board member of the Keystone House, Norwalk, for over 15 years. She also was active in many local civic organizations. She was an avid sports fan and loved to travel.

Deborah is survived by her relatives in Illinois -- her brothers and their wives Alan and Theresa, Kenneth and Carol Lindstrom, her nephews David, Michael, Cory and Kevin Lindstrom, her aunts – Sharon Tully and Becky Bukholt, her extended family in Connecticut -- Anthony Zarrilli, Joe Zarrilli, Vickie Moon and Pam Zarrilli, Susie Fast, Kerrigan Ritter Hotchkiss and her lifetime partner, Robert Amerigo Loscialpo.

The wake will be held at Harding Funeral Home, Westport. Calling hours are Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Keystone House, 146 Main Street, Norwalk, CT.
