Obituary: Debra Casey, 53, Of Westport

WESTPORT, CT - Debra L. Casey a lifelong resident of Westport died November 24th. She was 53.

She attended Coleytown Junior high school where one of her proudest moments was being awarded the most valuable player on the woman’s field hockey team. She graduated from Staples High School and attended Northeastern University in Boston. She studied physical and occupational therapy and worked with the elderly for many years.

Born in New York City, Debra’s family moved to Westport in 1970. She loved music and playing the piano. Her passion were her dogs throughout the years. When she was 17 she loved driving her MGB convertible to compo beach and later fell in love with photography and card making. She is survived by her mother Zita Casey of Westport, sister Susan Casey and her children Doug and Jack, brother London Fields and his wife Laura of Carlsbad Ca and Cousin Jeffrey Crocker and his wife Martha and their daughter Alexandra.
