A man of many names (Chip, Hopper, Da, Fud-a-dud), Dudley's charm and grace attracted many friends who loved him, visited him, and lifted his and Maureen's spirits during his courageous battle with ALS.

Dudley's interests included driving fast cars in his early days, golf, jet and snow skiing, cooking, traveling, and gathering with friends at the Black Duck in Westport. He looked forward to his annual trip to Cape Cod with Maureen, their dogs Jackie and Otis, and their dear friends Mary and Diane. His deep devotion to his wife Maureen, his sisters and the rest of his family was limitless. His gentle nature, infectious laugh, twinkling eyes, heroic courage and good humor will be greatly missed by all. He will be forever in our prayers. He will be forever in our hearts.
