Obituary: Judith Diane Graham, 79
Judith Diane Graham is survived by her daughter Michelle Graham Krausche, and her children, of Redding.
REDDING, CT — Judith Diane Graham, 79, of Indialantic, FL passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Melbourne, FL. Judy was born on May 29th, 1940 to Fern Gretchen Solley and Donald Vincent Pelton, in Salamanca, NY. She graduated from Hollywood High School, and then studied English at the University of Connecticut. She received a masters degree in Counseling from Rollins College.
Judy was active in the Civil Rights movement and the Women’s movement. She dedicated her life to helping give a voice to those without one. She worked as a social worker in Stamford, for the Department of Child and Youth Services. Then moved to Florida and worked for years as a counselor for Brevard Hospice.
After retiring, Judy was an active member of AAUW and was President of the chapter in Melbourne. She enjoyed reading and belonged to several book clubs and research groups. She loved the beach and spent countless summers on Martha’s Vineyard with her own mother, daughters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren

Judy is survived by her sister, Joanne Solley-Hansen; her two daughters, Deborah Jean Allen and Michelle Graham Krausche; and her six grandchildren, Alexander Allen-Pereira, Orion Krausche, Alexandra Varga Krausche, Millicent Krausche, Lillian Krausche, and Jon B. Krausche.
A memorial service and Celebration of Life are planned for Judith Diane Graham, who is survived by her daughter Michelle Graham Krausche, and her children, of Redding.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Mar. 7, 2020 at The First Church of Christ Congregational in Redding at 1 p.m. Reception and celebration to follow at her daughter’s home.
