Obituary: Michael Baldyga, 63, Of Easton

EASTON, CT — Michael Baldyga, age 63 of Easton, entered into eternal life on Jan. 10, 2020. Born in Bridgeport Michael was the son of the Raymond and Eleanor Sembrot Baldyga. He was a Business Executive for MBI.

Growing up Michael would attend weekly dinners "Dinner at Grandma's" every Wednesday night. At these dinners he would tell his family about his adventures, and childhood stories about him and his brother. His family thought the best part of these dinners was when he would show them the international space station. Mike knew exactly what time and where in the sky it would be flying over the house. Everyone would stop eating and run outside to watch it fly over. He was such a brilliant man. He had an unforgettable voice and laugh.

In addition to his parents, his memory will be cherished by his brothers, Ray Baldyga and his wife, Judy of Easton, Larry Baldyga of Fairfield and Mark Baldyga and his wife, Kelly of Newton; Nieces Ann Baldyga and Jane Skalkos-Baldyga, who share a special bond with Mike.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. Directly at Holy Family Church 700 Old Stratfield Road in Fairfield. His Burial will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center.
