WESTON, CT — Pamela B. Rogalin passed peacefully on December 3. Always with a joyful smile and sparkling eyes, she is loved and admired by students, parents, faculty, friends, neighbors, and family.
Pamela spent most of her neigh on 40 years of her married life in Weston where she was an avid runner and nature lover. Along with her professional charitable work she was an American Red Cross blood donor and volunteered for many years at the Norwalk Soup Kitchen.
She was an excellent educator having received the Teacher of the Year Award multiple times at Whisconier Middle School, Brookfield. As the teacher of the Humanities Program at Whisconier, she expanded her students' awareness of life by engaging them in selfless giving. Examples include: sandwich preparation for the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality; and, the Collection for Nicaragua in support of the CT Quest for Peace for which she received the Bridges of Peace and Hope award in 2010. There are hundreds of past students whose lives have been enhanced by her unconditional love.
