Obituary: Patricia Ellen Burrows, 76, Of Weston

WESTON, CT — Patricia Ellen Burrows passed away on August 14, 2023, at her home in Weston, CT. Beloved wife of Milt Wolfson, mother of Jordan Matthew Wolfson, Jessica Sarah Wolfson, Jody Wolfson Emmet, and Tracy Rose Wolfson, younger sister of Jonathan Burrows (Annie Burrows) and Kenneth Burrows (Erica Jong), sister-in-law of Estarose Wolfson (Manfred Mohr), mother-in-law of Paul Lovelace, former mother-in-law of Scott Zeramby, future mother-in-law of John Isaacs, and grandmother of Maximiliana Warburg, Henri Emmet, Hana Zeramby, Dylan Zeramby, Lucas Lovelace, Naomi Lovelace, and puppy Lucy.

A psychotherapist for more than 50 years, she was a pillar of numerous communities, including New York, NY; Weston, CT; Mendocino, CA; Lake Ninevah, Mount Holly, VT; and a surrogate mother to many more. Born Sept. 17, 1946, she married Milt on Jan. 20, 1974, and they had over 50 happy years together. A loving and generous friend, no one was more full of life. Patty will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. May her memory be a blessing.

The memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Visitation starts at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held at the family home in Weston immediately following the service until 6:00pm.

2:00–6:00 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20
