Obituary: William Sullivan, 86, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, CT - William Rogers Sullivan, Sr., 86, husband of the late June Elaine (Carroll) Sullivan passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

Born in Norwalk on March 30, 1931, William (Bill) was the son of the late Hugh Sullivan and Margaret Rogers Sullivan.

Bill loved all his brothers and sisters and was proud of his large extended family. He was a successful local business man and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife spent many wonderful years of retirement in Jensen Beach, Florida. He enjoyed perfecting his tennis game and taking long walks on the beach.

Bill is survived by his children, William (Bill) R. Sullivan Jr., Terryanne Sullivan Dennehy and her husband David, Sharon Sullivan Pavlik and her husband Bill and grandchildren, John Palladino and Maureen Pavlik, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 3, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at The Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
