Only A Few Spaces Remain in New Pond Farm's Summer Camp
Five action-packed days where children (ages 8-12) may become a beekeeper, a farmer, a naturalist, a gardener, and more.
During five action-packed days children (ages 8-12) may become a beekeeper, a farmer, a naturalist, a vegetable gardener, a chef, an artist, a treasure hunter, a scientist, & more! Over the
past 40 years New Pond Farm has brought together residential campers from the inner cities of Connecticut and children from the surrounding area to form friendships, develop an understanding and appreciation of one another, and to have a marvelous time discovering the many wonders of the property.
Days are filled with activities like exploring the woodlands and wetlands, arts and crafts, swimming, camping, stargazing, harvesting fresh foods from the garden, working with our farmers, and having good old fashioned"unplugged" fun. At the end of each session our campers leave us with a strong sense of accomplishment, walking a little taller and always filled with positive memories.
A week of camp runs 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and costs $550 for New Pond Farm Family Members and $625 for non-members (includes daily lunch & snacks, a camp-out, craft materials, and a t-shirt).
