Picturing the News: The Distinctive Vision of Harry Neigher and Frank Gerratana, Sr.

Columnist and cartoonist Harry Neigher and photographer Frank Gerratana, Sr. of theBridgeport/Connecticut Herald portrayed and documented the news from the 1930s until the paper closed in 1973. Featuring a selection of Neigher and Gerratana’s work over four decades, this exhibition includes photographs, cartoons, sketches, and newspaper clippings that explore a range of local and national issues in entertainment, politics, and the arts. Opens September 10, 2015 and closes January 17, 2016. The museum is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with admission prices $5 Adults, $3 Seniors & Students, free for members and children 5 and under.
