Redding Family Loses Home, Dog, in Devastating Fire

REDDING, CT — A Redding family lost their home and dog in a residential fire Sunday morning.

All five human members of the Rotondo family made it to safety, but their dog, Casey, was lost in the fire at 32 Long Ridge Road on Sunday.

A GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the family was established by friends.

"After receiving many calls from friends asking how they can help, we decided that this would be the best way to show our love and support. Thank you, friends!" the campaign's organizer posted to the page.
