Redding Police Investigating 'Untimely Death' In Hotel

REDDING, CT — Local and state police are investigating the death of a woman found in a Redding Hotel.

In a statement released Saturday, Redding Police Chief Mark O'Donnell described the death of the 56-year-old woman found in a room at the Days Inn on U.S. Route 7 "untimely."

Redding police are investigating the death alongside the Western District Major Crime Unit, O'Donnell said.

No other details were made available, and the investigation remains open.
