Redding Police Log: Jan. 31 Through Feb. 6
Burglary, disorderly conduct and driving charges.

Burglary
On Monday, Jan. 31, at 10:54 p.m., a burglary on Umpawaug Road was reported to police. Police said somebody allegedly entered a residence through an unlocked side door and took items from the house, totaling about $200.
The case remains under investigation.

Disorderly conduct
On Tuesday, Feb 1 at 2:45 p.m., police arrested Thomas Doherty, 46, of Deer Hill Road and charged him with breach of peace. According to police, Doherty was upset with a member of Redding’s highway department over where he was pushing snow and was threatening him. Doherty was released on a promise to appear at a future court date.

On Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m., a woman was arrested on Old Stagecoach Road following a domestic altercation between her and her boyfriend. The woman was given a misdemeanor summons and was released on a promise to appear in court.
Driving charges
On Thursday, Feb. 3 at 4:31 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Redding Road. According to police, a car driven by Dawn Fawcett, 49, of Redding Road pulled out of a driveway and struck the bumper of a car driven by Pamela Leston, 37, of Danbury.
Upon investigation, officers charged Fawcett with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to carry registration.
