Redding Police Reports: Credit Fraud, Catalytic Converter Theft

Redding Police have released information about investigations from Dec. 10 to 13, including several reports of fraud.

REDDING, CT — Redding Police have released information about investigations from Dec. 10 to 13, including several reports of fraud.

Police say on Dec. 10, a man reported someone tried to take out three credit cards in his name.

Also on Dec. 10, police said a resident reported an ex-boyfriend had taken more than $51,000 from them by using an E-Trade account.

Also on Dec. 10, a man said someone cut off the catalytic converter from his truck while it was parked at the Gilbert and Bennett Wire Mill.

On Dec. 11, a man reported someone tried to buy thousands of dollars worth of tires using his name.
