REDDING, CT — The Redding Police Department is welcoming a new officer.

Officer Benjamin Coppock is a recent graduate of the Milford Police Department's 26-week Regional Police Training Academy. There he became versed in criminal and motor vehicle law, crisis intervention training, and firearms.

Officer Coppock will now spend the next several months on field training in Redding.
