Redding Readies for Relay for Life
Teams from Bethel, Redding, Danbury and Brookfield are lacing up their walking shoes in preparation for the annual fundraiser.

Forty-five teams and 223 participants have already raised over $40,000 for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The annual event will take place at Bethel High School beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2015 and will run through Saturday, June 14, 2015.
Teams met at the Bethel Middle School cafeteria Wednesday evening to discuss the event and to see how the money they’ve raised has gone to help with cancer research. A researcher Skyped with attendees to discuss how funding from the ACS can help to find a cure.
The event’s Tri-Chairs this year are Laura McCormack, Cheryl Hallock and Carol Ann Viebrock.
