Redding Student Finishes Strong in Fencing at Junior Olympics
The sporting event was held in Richmond, Virginia.
Owen Prevey-Sullivan of Redding placed 22 of over 190 students in the under 17 Men’s Sabre Fencing at the Junior Olympics in Richmond, Virginia this past weekend.
Prevey-Sullivan will now be ranked 27 in the Country in Under 17 and Top 8 in the 14 and Under Category.
A multitude of students represented both the State of Connecticut and Candlewood Fencing Center at the Junior Olympics in the sport of fencing. Candlewood Fencing Center is located in Danbury.
