REMINDER: CT NAACP Press Conference Wednesday Night for Redding Lawyer Who Died Under 'Mysterious' Circumstances

The NAACP will be holding a press conference on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m. announcing they are opening an investigation into his death.

A 35-year-old black attorney has died in Redding under what his family and attorney calls “mysterious circumstances.” The CT NAACP will be holding a press conference in Redding this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. announcing they are opening an investigation into his death.

Gugsa Abraham “Abe” Dabela died on April 5, 2014 after a car accident. He was found shot through the head but Redding Police and the Medical Examiner’s office ruled his death a suicide. His family has continued to press for answers and they still have questions.

CT NAACP President Scot X. Esdaile, Norwalk branch President Darnell D. Crosland, Esq., Dabela family attorneys Jim Bergenn and Robert Simpson and a Dabela family representative will be present at the event.
The press conference will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:30pm sharp at the Redding Police Department, 96 Hill Road, Redding.
