Rep. Anne Hughes Announces 2022 Re-Election Campaign [VIDEO]

EASTON, CT — State Rep. Anne Hughes is seeking election to a third term.

Hughes, a Democrat, represents House District 135, which includes all of Weston, Redding and over half of Easton. She announced her bid in a video released on YouTube Tuesday:

In her first two terms, Hughes has been an advocate in the legislature for seniors, workers, young people and the environment.

In addition to her job as legislator serving on Aging, Human Services and Labor and Public Employees Committees of the Connecticut General Assembly, Rep. Hughes works as a Licensed Master Social Worker, the coordinator of the Center for Elder Abuse Prevention at Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport. She lives in Easton with her husband Tim.
