Rep. Shaban Meets with District Police Chiefs

HARTFORD – On February 25th, State Rep. John Shaban (R-135) met with Police Chiefs James Candee of Easton, Chief John Troxell of Weston and Chief Doug Fuchs of Redding to discuss upcoming legislation affecting law enforcement including drones, taser use, racial profiling, risk warrants and restraining orders, and pharmaceutical collection.

“I’m glad that I was able to meet again with the Chiefs from my three towns,” said Rep. Shaban. “Their departments provide crucial community resources every day, and especially during emergencies. Each session I seek their input on important issues that impact the welfare of our constituents.”
