Safer Teens, Healthier Families is Goal of Easton Library Author Talk
CT author Tim Hollister will discuss his book, "His Father Still: A Parenting Memoir," on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m.

Insights gained in the aftermath of his teenage son‘s tragic death inspired Tim Hollister‘s new life as an author and blogger.
An environmental attorney ranked among the Best Lawyers in America, Tim became an advocate for safer teen driving after his son Reid’s 2006 death in a one-car crash. In 2009, he launched his blog for parents of teen drivers, “From Reid’s Dad”, and in 2013 he published his first book, Not So Fast: Parenting Your Teen Through the Dangers of Driving. Tim has received national public service awards from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Governors Highway Safety Association. He has appeared on the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, the “Home and Family Show” on the Hallmark Channel, and Kyra Phillips’ Raising America on HLN.
“It’s about choices parents make every day,” Tim said in a recent appearance on WFSB’s Better Connecticut. “What are the consequences? When do I need to intervene?” To view Tim’s appearance on Better Connecticut, click here.
