The fundraising event provides books for children in need.

The annual Hurlbutt Elementary School Scholastic Book Fair has been set for Oct. 19-23.

Open to the public, the fundraiser will donate a book to Kids in Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations for every dollar raised.

Organizers said last year’s book fair led to 1,377 donated books.
