Weston, Redding and Easton students earn accolades at schools nationwide.

Villanova University named the following students to the dean's list for the Fall 2012 semester:
- Michael Antonovich, from Weston, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Villanova School of Business.
- Alexandra Ruiz, from Weston, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Villanova School of Business.
- Margaret O'Leary, from Redding, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
- Sarah Fleischer, from Easton, is studying Accountancy and Information Systems in the Villanova School of Business.
- Evan Renaud, from Weston, is studying Biology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
- Taylor Shea, from Weston, is studying English in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
- Alexandra Robertson, from Easton, is studying Marketing and Business Law in the Villanova School of Business.

Christian E. Bruzinski, of Redding Ridge, was named to the provost's list for the Fall 2012 semester at Potomac State College. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.7.

Loyola University in Maryland has announced the members of its Fall 2012 dean's list. In order to qualify for the dean's list at Loyola, a student must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. The following local students have achieved this honor:

Area students were named to the dean's list at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for their outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2012-13 year.
- Grace E. Baldwin, a first-year student, is the daughter of Kenneth and Carol Baldwin of Weston, Conn., and attended Hopkins School.
- Jason P. Ottomano, a junior, is the son of Peter and Kristine Ottomano of Weston, Conn., and attended Fairfield College Preparatory.
Students whose grade point averages were 3.67 or higher were named to the dean's list.
