On Saturday, September 26thth, Jesse Lee Church will be hosting their “2nd Annual Shredders Delight” event open to the public to‘shred’ unwanted documents of any type.
As one of New England’s oldest churches, Jesse Lee United Methodist Church, located at 25 Flat Rock Road in Easton, has been a staple within the community providing ministry and support to Easton and beyond. Last year, this event provided much needed funding to sustain the church’s ongoing mission, and we hope that this year, with the community’s participation, that we will be as successful.

This is a great way to rid your home of unwanted clutter. And, if you brought your unwanted documents to another site, you might be traveling farther and definitely paying by the pound, which can add up. We see it as a win/win for everyone.
Some items that homeowners might want to shred are old bank statements, checks, check registers or tax documents, etc. This event is an easy, fast and affordable way to rid your home of all that ‘stuff’. Simply place your unwanted documents in a box, paperclips, staples and all, and drive to the back parking lot of Jesse Lee Methodist Church, located at 24 Flat Rock Road, Easton on Saturday, September 26th between the hours of 9 am and 12 noon. You can bring as many boxes as you can fit in your car, with no weight limits. The volunteers will unload your boxes for you safely and securely right before your own eyes. After all boxes have been unloaded by the volunteers, simply pay a $10 per box fee - check or cash. The actual shredding will be performed by PROShred, which is a fully licensed and insured shredding company out of Wallingford, CT. PROSHRED is a world leader specializing in secure shredding services and document destruction.
