REDDING, CT — Two motor vehicle mishaps topped the Redding Police blotter for Jan. 29 - Feb. 4.

On Feb. 1, police investigated an accident in the parking lot of the West Redding Shopping Center on Long Ridge Road. No injuries were reported in the fender bender which saw one motorist pull out of a space and into a parked and unoccupied car.

On Jan. 29, an eastbound motorist on Simpaug Turnpike near Marchant Road crossed the center line and struck a vehicle traveling westbound, according to police. No injuries were reported.
