Skiing: From the Alps to the Masses

The Cortina Kid...


I sort of learned to ski many years ago while stationed in the Air Force in Denver.

Ed Mastoloni, Dave Schnegelberger and I became The Marx Brothers of the slopes at Arapahoe Basin, Loveland and Vail above Denver.

We weren’t very good, but we had a wonderful time.

Looking back on it, we also had some close calls, but then young people have a tendency to just shrugged those off.
