Spring Break Programs at Weston Library
From preschool to teens, we have something for everyone at the Weston Library during Spring Break!

Reading to Rover: Apr. 9, 11AM-12PM
Weston Youth Services Director, Michelle Albright, will bring her ROAR (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue) certified therapy dog, Nellie, to the Weston Public Library! Stop in for a 15 minute reading session!
A Total Disconnect: Apr. 11, 2PM-4PM
Teens, Tweens and School-aged kids, join us for some unplugged fun. Accept a LEGO building challenge or bring a friend for fun with board games! Rally the troops, leave those devices at home and join us for a total disconnect!
Crazy 8s Club: Apr. 11, 4:30PM-5:30PM
Where Match Meets Mischief! Students in graded 2-5, join us for Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, a session designed to help you have too much match fun. You will build shapes with glow sticks, construct glow-in-the-dark pyramids, and much more. Space and supplies are limited to 15 students. To register, call the library at 203-222-2665.
Sciencetellers presents Dragons and Dreams: Apr. 13, 12PM
Join us as we learn about the changing states of matter through an interactive journey, where two brave villagers take a daring journey to free dragons and save an entire kingdom! The story is an explosive experience with dry ice, fog, bubbles, flying rockets and more. Reservations needed; call 203-222-2665 to reserve your spot.
Teen Tech Time Challenge: Apr. 13, 6PM
Are you creative enough to accept our Teen Tech Challenge to create videos to highlight our latest books? To join in: bring your own device and use the app or program of your choice to create your video. Then you can see the finished video on our website!
Movie Showing: The Peanuts Movie: Apr. 14, 2PM
Enjoy your spring break with a movie at the library! Join us for a free viewing of The Peanuts Movie (Rated G). No registration required, and all ages are welcome. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Preschool Story-Craft: Apr. 16, 2PM
Kids aged 3-5, please join us for this delicious tale of problem solving and sharing. We will read Little Mouse and the Big Cupcake, then make a yummy craft. Please call to reserve your spot.
Minecraft Meetup and Builder’s Workshop, Apr. 17, 1PM-3PM
Weston Public Library has its own Minecraft world, and kids are invited to come play in it! Bring a your Minecraft player name, library card, and a parent or guardian, and we’ll add you to the server! If you bring a computer, you can hang out for a while and play Minecraft with other kids. There will also be a chance to do some real-life building with Legos.
