Summer Construction Planned for South Park Avenue Bridge
Detours will be established at Tersana Drive, Ferndale Drive and High Ridge Road during construction.

EASTON, CT --- Construction of a new bridge spanning the Mill River near Buck Hill Road and Marich Drive should begin this summer, the Planning and Zoning Commission determined at a public hearing on April 9. and take a few months. The new bridge will be almost 53 feet long and 35 feet wide and will include a sidewalk.
Motorists can expect that traffic across the span will be closed to them for more than a month. Police will establish detours on Tersana Drive, Ferndale Drive and High Ridge Road.
The price tag will be in the neighborhood of $1.5 million.
