Summertime Classics: Bach Concert on July 30th, plus Summer Sings in August
The Music on the Hill Summer Chorus performs music of J.S. Bach, then welcomes singers for more classics on Tuesdays in August
The Music on the Hill Summer Chorus will perform music of J.S. Bach with Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson, Conductor, on Thursday, July 30, at 8 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wilton, 48 New Canaan Road.
The concert will feature three joyful and spirited Bach cantatas, performed with soloists and chamber orchestra, and the final movement of the Mass in B-minor (Dona Nobis Pacem).
Tickets are $20 purchased in advance at www.musiconthehillCT.org; $25 at the door; students, free. A reception follows the concert.

Join the Singing in August!
Music on the Hill will offer a series of Summer Sings on Tuesday evenings in August beginning August 4th. Each week will feature a different choral classic with a different conductor. No performance: the audience is the chorus!

Summer Sings are an opportunity to revisit a familiar favorite piece of music or to try something new. No advance registration required, and scores will be provided: just show up and sing. Donations welcome.
Summer Sings will run from 7 to 9 p.m. and will take place at the WEPCO church complex at 48 New Canaan Road in Wilton (Rte. #106 towards New Canaan). Visit www.musiconthehillCT.org for details on musical selections and exact location.
About Music on the Hill
Music on the Hill is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to high-quality music education and performance for all ages. Under the leadership of Artistic Directors David H. Connell, D.M.A., and Ellen Dickinson, M.M., Music on the Hill offers workshops as well as four choral and handbell ensembles performing, in rotation, six to eight concerts each year.
