Tennis Everyone… Redding Park and Recreation Department’s Tennis Tournaments to get underway this August
Tennis pro Glen Englander is tournament host and director
Redding, Ct. Tennis players of every level are invited to participate in the Redding Park and Recreation Department’s series of Round Robin Tournaments to be held at The Redding Elementary School Courts. “Garb your racquets and come on over,” encourages Tennis Director Glen Englander. “If you don’t have a partner, we’ll find you one.”

Men’s Doubles is scheduled for Saturday, August 8th from 9am to 11am with a registration deadline of August 6th by 5:00 pm followed by Women’s Doubles on August 22nd from 9am to 11am; player’s registration form must be in by Thursday, August 20th at 5:00pm. The series’ finale will be a Mixed Doubles Tournament on Saturday, August 29th from 9 to 11am. Registration forms must be submitted by Thursday, August 27th by 5:00pm.
Tournament Director Englander is Weston’s Senior Tennis Director. A former tennis Pro for the towns of Westport, Wilton and Wilton High School, Englander is currently a tennis professional for the recreation departments in Redding, Monroe and Watertown. He is currently a staff member at Four Season’s Racquet Club.
