Town of Redding Makes Decision on Saturday's Fireworks Display

The Town of Redding made an announcement on their Facebook page regarding Saturday's 'Rock and Roots' fireworks display.

The Town of Redding made an announcement on their Facebook page today regarding Saturday’s ‘Rock and Roots’ fireworks display.

The announcement stated: “Rain is forecast for much of the day. The show will now take place Sunday, July 5th!”

The event will now take place on Sunday, July 5 from 3 - 9:45 p.m. at 43 Lonetown Road, Redding.

The event is being organized by The Redding Historical Society and features the Mary & Jabez Burr Fireworks Show, Andy Powell, The Bobby Paltauf Band, Yippee Coyote, Tara Engler, and special guests the Germantown Fife and Drum Corps.

Music begins at 3 p.m. and kid’s crafts and games start at 3:30 p.m. There will be food vendors and guests are welcome to bring a picnic blanket or a lawn chair. Adults are $15. Seniors/Students are $10. Kids under 12 are free. All proceeds go to benefit the Redding Historical Society. For more information call 203-788-1805.
