Tractor Trailer Gets Caught in Power Lines: Police
The driver told police that while making a delivery in the parking lot, he had become entangled in the power lines.

WESTON, CT -- Police responded to a report of a tractor trailer that had become trapped in a web of power lines.
Police received a call about a quarter past noon on Thursday, May 31, of a tractor trailer accident. Two officers were dispatched to Weston Road and Weston Center. Upon arrival they saw that power lines had been detached from the building and were lying across the roof of the truck.
The driver of the truck, Marvin Duncan, Jr., 32, of Bridgeport, had already vacated his vehicle by the time police had arrived. He told police that while making a delivery in the parking lot, he had become entangled in the power lines.

The police notified Eversource, who in the police report stated that the lines must have been incorrectly sagging for the the vehicle to have come in contact with them.
There was no damage to the truck or driver, but damage was sustained by the structure at 190 Weston Road.

No actions were taken against the driver.
