Weekend Fire Guts Georgetown Apartment
One person was sent to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
REDDING, CT — A fire on Portland Avenue gutted an apartment over the weekend in the Georgetown section of Redding.
The Feb. 24 fire occurred in the morning. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to the Wilton Bulletin.
Rebuilding to the affected apartment will take about six months.
