Weston 2021 Election Voter Guide: See The Candidates
Here's what you need to know concerning the 2021 Weston local elections including the candidates, polling places, voting hours and more.

WESTON, CT — Weston residents will head to the polls on Nov. 2 to cast votes for the municipal election. The position of first selectman, selectman, and spots on the boards of education and finance and more are all up for grabs.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2. You can find your poll location at the Secretary of the State website by inputting your information.
In Weston, Democratic First Selectman Samantha Nestor, who assumed that role in July following the resignation of Chris Spaulding, is running against Republican Kirby Brendsel. For selectman, the Democrats are fielding Martin Mohabeer, and the Republicans, Amy Jenner.

Four candidates are competing for three full-term open positions on the Board of Finance. Republicans Jamie Zeppernick, K. Rone Baldwin and Jeffrey Farr are competing with Democrat Steve Ezzes and petitioning candidate Travis Worrell. Democrat Michael lmber is running unopposed to fill a two-year vacancy on the BoF.
All six candidates for the Board of Education are also effectively running unopposed. Democrats

Taffy Miller, Bernadette Kingsley and Tony Pesco are the only candidates on the ballot for three full-term BoE positions. Likewise, Republicans David Felton and Peter Gordon, along with Democrat Sharon Ferraro are the only candidates vying to fill three two-year positions on the board.

Democrat Anne Kendall is running unopposed for the Board of Assessment Appeals.
Four candidates are vying for three full-term positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission: Democrats Megan Loucas and Sally Korsh; Republican Alexander Burns; and petitioning candidate Travis Worrell. Republican James Carlon is running unopposed to fill a two-year vacancy on P&Z.
The four candidates running for a position on the Police Commission can hit the hay early on Election Night. Democrats Dawn Egan and John Dembishack and Republicans Peter Ottomano and Woody Bliss are competing for four available slots.
