WESTON, CT — On Nov. 7, Weston residents cast their votes for a few key municipal positions. Contested races include first selectman and selectman and seats on the Board of Education.

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration. To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your town clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.

Selectman — Vote for One

The Democratic candidate is Tony Pesco. Kerem Dinlenc is the Republican candidate.

Board of Finance, Full Term — Vote for Up to Three

Only three Democratic candidates are in the race: Amy Gare, Jeffrey Goldstein and Michael Imber.

Board of Finance, to Fill Vacancy for Two Years — Vote for Up to Two

The Democratic candidate is Christopher Bryant, and Theresa Brasco is running on the Republican ticket.

Board of Education, Full Term — Vote for Up to Four

The Democratic candidate is Sharon Ferraro. David Felton, Michael Guido, Brandon Gutman and Peter Gordon are the Republican candidates.

Board of Education, to Fill Vacancy for Two Years — Vote for Up to Two

Two Democratic candidates are running: Chad Hoeppner and Steve Ezzes.

Board of Assessment Appeals, Full Term — Vote for One

The Democratic candidate Barbara Reynolds is running unopposed.

Zoning Board of Appeals — Vote for Up to Three

The Democratic candidates are Ilene Richardson and James Low. Daniel Gilbert is running as a Republican.

Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate, to Fill Vacancy for Two Years — Vote for One

Republican Richard Wolf is running unopposed.

Police Commission — Vote for Up to Three

The Democratic candidates are Beth Gralnick and David Muller. Jess DiPasquale and Frank Ferrara are the Republican candidates.
