Charlie DiPasquale paced four players in double figures with 15 points Tuesday as theboys basketball team defeated Bethel 57-50 to improve to 2-0.
Max Molinsky added 14 points for the Trojans, who got off to a slow start but came alive after trailing 9-4 after the first period.

Lyle Mitchell had a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds for Weston and Erik Dammen-Brower chipped in with 12 points.
The Trojans outscored the Wildcats 21-13 in the second period to take a 25-22 lead at the intermission. Weston then extended its lead to 42-31 after three periods.

Danny Burkhart scored nearly half of his team's total with 30 points Brookfield defeated Barlow 63-42 in boys basketball action on Tuesday night.
Daric Myers was next with eight points for the Bobcats, who improved to 3-0.
Nolan Stauffer and Phil Moriber each had 16 points for the Falcons, who fell to 1-2. Stauffer also handed out five assists.
Brookfield jumped out to a 14-4 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 24-12 at the half and 43-29 after three periods.

The Barlow girls basketball team suffered its first loss Tuesday with a 57-34 defeat to Lauralton Hall in Milford.
Taylor Auer had 11 points and Brittney Dumas added nine for the Falcons, who dropped to 3-1 after opening the season with three non-conference victories.
Olivia Levey had 14 and Michelle DeSantis added 13 for Lauralton Hall, which improved to 3-1.
The hosts built a 24-14 halftime lead, then slowly pulled away in the second half.

The Weston girls remained winless following a 68-45 defeat to undefeated Newtown.
Despite the loss, Ellie Martin had a spectacular game for the Trojans (0-3), with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
For Newtown, Riley Wurtz collected 10 assists and eight steals and Jess Lynch and Maddy Good each pulled down 10 rebounds.
Lynch scored 17 points and Bridget Power added 10 for the Nighthawks, who improved to 4-0.
