Weston-Barlow Scores And Standings: Jan. 10

The boys basketball team looks to improve to 7-1 on Tuesday when the Trojans visit Bethel (7 p.m.).

Weston continued its strong start under first-year coach Mke Hvizdo with a 66-49 victory over Masuk on Friday.

Max Molinsky just missed a triple-double in the win over Masuk with 14 points, 10 rebounds and nine assist. Lyle Mitchell pulled down 14 rebounds for Weston and J.D. Simons added 12 points.

Barlow, meanwhile will be looking to rebound from a 64-39 spanking at the hands of Notre Dame of Fairfield. The loss was the second straight for the Falcons and dropped them to 3-5.

On the girls' side, Weston looks to stay hot when it hosts Bethel at 7 p.m.

After an 0-4 start, the Trojans have won three of their last four, including a 49-43 overtime victory against Masuk on Friday.

Ellie Martin had a huge game against the Panthers with 24 points and 16 rebounds.

Barlow, meanwhile, is looking to snap a three-game slide after Friday's 44-41 loss to Notre Dame of Fairfield dropped the Falcons to 5-4.
