Theboys basketball team looks to climb over .500 on Tuesday when the Falcons visit Bethel in an early 5:15 p.m. start.
Phil Moriber scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Falcons defeated Oxford 48-35 on Friday. Steven Michos added 17 rebounds and seven steals for the Falcons, who improved to 5-5.

Joey Greenspan also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Barlow, which is seeking its third straight victory.
Bethel is coming off Friday's 59-46 victory over Newtown and also had won two in a row to improve to 5-4.

Weston looks to snap a two-game slide when the Trojans host Notre Dame of Fairfield at 7 p.m. Weston fell to 6-3 following Thursday's 59-49 upset loss to New Fairfield.
Notre Dame of Fairfield (5-4) has been off since suffering a 59-42 loss to Kolbe-Cathedral on Tuesday. The Lancers played four freshmen in that game due to injuries and suspensions.
In girls action, Barlow (6-5) hosts Bethel at 5:15 p.m. and Weston visits Notre Dame at 7 p.m.
Drew Bartro registered a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds as Barlow defeated Oxford 56-46 in its last game on Friday.
Weston (4-6) is coming off Thursday's 50-45 loss to New Fairfield that snapped a three-game winning streak.

Forest Savage had a four-point game Monday, leading the Staples-Weston-Shelton boys hockey team to an 8-1 victory over Norwalk-McMahon.
Savage scored two goals and added a pair of assists for the Wreckers (6-1), who rebounded from their first loss of the season, a 4-2 setback to Trumbull on Saturday.
Norwalk-McMahon suffered its third straight loss and dropped to 2-5. It had allowed a combined 18 goals in its previous two games against New Canaan (9-1) and Greenwich (9-2).
