The boys basketball steps out of conference on Thursday to take on Harding in Bridgeport (7 p.m.).

The suddenly-slumping Trojans, who have dropped to 6-4, will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak. Weston is coming off a 68-41 loss to Notre Dame of Fairfield on Tuesday.

Harding is one of the state's most storied programs, hut the Presidents are enduring a rough first season under new coach Charles Clemons, who succeeded the legendary Charlie Bentley (nine state championships in 34 seasons at Harding).

The Presidents fell to an almost unfathomable 1-8 following Tuesday's 73-50 setback to Staples.

The Weston girls host SWC power Lauralton Hall on Thursday at 7 p.m.. The Trojans improved to 5-6 with a 34-28 victory over Notre Dame of Fairfield on Tuesday.
