The boys basketball team looks to snap a four-game losing streak on Tuesday when the Trojans visit Brookfield (7 p.m.)

After a 6-1 start under first-year coach Mike Hvizdo, Weston has slipped to 6-5 and is coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Harding on Thursday.

The Trojans have not won since a 66-48 victory at Masuk on Jan. 8 and could face another stiff test against Brookfield,  which is enjoying a solid season at 10-2. The Bobcats are coming off a 58-36 victory over New Fairfield on Friday.

The Barlow boys have dropped their last two, including a 67-48 loss to unbeaten Immaculate on Friday, and look to rebound at home on Tuesday against New Fairfield (7 p.m.). The Falcons are 5-7.

Tuesday's contets presents a good opportunity for Barlow to get back on track as New Fairfield enters with a 2-10 record.

On the girls side, Weston hosts Brookfield (7 p.m.) and Barlow visits New Fairfield (5:15 p.m.).

The Weston girls (5-7) will be looking to bounce back from Friday's 68-39 defeat to powerful Lauralton Hall. Brookfield has won three in a row, including Friday's 54-42 victory over New Fairfield, to reach .500 at 6-6 following an 0-4 start.

After dropping four in a row to fall to 5-5, Barlow has responded with three straight victories to improve to 8-5. Drew Bartro had 17 points, 10 blocks and nine rebounds in Friday's 37-25 win over Immaculate.

New Fairfield is 5-8 following Friday's 54-42 loss to Brookfield.
