Charlie DiPasquale and Erik Dammen-Brower each scored 16 points as the boys basketball team rebounded from its first loss to defeat Oxford 74-54 on Tuesday.

The Trojans (5-1) had four players in double figures as Max Molinsky chipped in with 11 points and Lyle Mitchell added 10.

Molinsky also recorded six assists and four steals while Mitchell grabbed nine rebounds.

Weston started slowly, but pulled away in the second half after holding a 26-22 lead at the half.

Tyler Gruttadauria had 19 points to lead Oxford.

Danny Burkhart scored 21 points as Brookfield took advantage of a quick start to defeat Joel Barlow 60-48 in boys basketball action Tuesday.

The Falcons outsored the Bobcats 34-28 in the second half but could not overcome a 32-14 deficit at the half. Mustafa Sahki added 10 points for Brookfield.

Jake Lightman had a double-double for Barlow (3-4) with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Nolan Stauffer added 14 points and six assists for the Falcons.

Ellie Martin had a huge game with 17 points and 22 rebounds as the Weston girls basketball team posted a 46-39 victory over Oxford.

It was the second straight win for the Trojans, who improved to 2-5.

Lianna Hirsch added 14 points for Weston while Anna Mahony grabbed 10 rebounds for the Trojans. Taylor Swanson chipped in with nine points and six assists.

Julia DePoi poured in 23 points as Brookfield defeated the Barlow girls basketball team 53-49 on Tuesday night.

Paulina Herron added 10 points for the Bobcats, who overcame a 15-6 deficit after the first quarter to improve to 2-5.

Brittany Dumas scored 21 points and Drew Bartro added 10 for the Falcons, who still led 28-23 at the half.

However, the Falcons were outscored 30-19 in the second half and dropped to 5-3.
